Presuming that you are a good mother and love your children, why even the question.
NO, NO, NO. Do you want even a hint of what that person believes to creep into your children's head. Who said you can't teach homosexuality but you can teach bigotry. There is no connection whatsoever. Homosexuality is something a person is born with, bigotry is something that somebody was taught, usually at home.
Bigotry is hate, homosexuality is not chosen. I have many homosexual friends, whom I love dearly, but I would not choose to have a bigot as a friend, ever.

You can also offer teachings against bigotry and let the kids decide what they're gonna think -- come to think of it, that's what they'll do anyway.
If the bigot is otherwise likely to be harmless, certainly I'd hire him/her as a babysitter. If I needed a babysitter. Which I don't.

First thought was some people have to because they are family. Outside of family I hope parents can avoid this.
Of course if one is fortunate none of their friends are so secret of their lives for this never to happen. People should know their friends, enough to protect their children.
Corporate and church day care - is always a risk I hear.
I was fortunate never had to worry about this. (One more miracle I did not know about.)

If the other option was to let the McCanns babysit your kids, I'd take the bigot

I dont go out much babe ... because I dont leave my kids with anyone
on the very odd occasion that I have to .. I leave them with mum
I love people ... you know that
but I would not trust anyone with my kids ... especially not if they were in any way a bigot
someone close to me is ... and he is told that he doesnt air his views in front of my kids

No I wouldn't.
And So-crates, I wouldn't let a Bigfoot babysit my kids either.

No I would not.
and for the record,
if he/she were a responsible person, as many of my homosexual friends are, I would have NO problem with *them* watching my children.
Blessed be.

I think the words "known bigot" rang a hard bell to my ears, so, no.

You mean like a Southern Baptist?
No WAY.
I let my Pentacostal friend babysit because he does not evangelize and refers questions back to me, as I do with his daughters: "That's for your father to answer, not me".
