I know what you are saying.... I just don't understand either, and I'm a guy. With all the technological advances of the modern age, relationships seem to wither away and get worse. Women just seem to be a tool to get what us guys want. Most of the guys I know (in the engineering department @ my college) are pretty decent - they're nearly all nerdy and shy like myself lol - but I can tell from the demeanor of other guys I see wandering campus that they are obviously players (perhaps I'm being judgmental, but I can kinda sense that kinda stuff.)
Anyway it seems like people have lost the meaning of what it means to love someone, but more than that, also, how to respect another person. Girls are people too... but this fact seems to be lost on a large majority (sadly enough) of my gender.
And I can probably say that, even though "confidence" is a popular theme in today's modern society, through observation, I have found that a large majority of these "confident" young guys (around my age) are so self-puffed up that they have no consideration for another person. Confidence is overrated... and even though I may never get a girlfriend with my lack of it... I never want to end up like everyone else just in order to have a girlfriend. Yes, I am very weird... I am like... totally different from everyone my age lol

are you serious? What id like to know is if there is any good girls out there that GIVE the nice guy a chance (well attractive ones anyway)
And to answer your question... Yes... you just got to get out of your own way to find them.

its the ones you meet. try focusing less on yourself and more on a common interest or hobby. no one likes constant self focus and sharing something or an interest in common brings a bond between people...in otherwords, if you dont like the hand, shuffle the deck.
