Cats are extremely smart and good at hiding so the chances are that she is still alive.
I would definitely recommend flyers/posters asking people to look for your cat in places like garages/sheds etc. Do not put too much identifying information about your cat on them, so that you will have questions left to ask people to distinguish whether they have your cat.
When our cat went missing we also put out something with the scent of our house on the doorstep (a catbed) as we thought the scent may help him find his way home (a long shot but hey it may have worked?!).
I don't know if these things will work but you could give them a try...good luck, i hope you find your cat.

If she did somehow manage to get outside, she'll most likely come back for food or catnip. She might be hiding under the bed or something. Cats like to hide in small, cramped spaces. Make sure she's not trapped in a closet or anything. If she's not declawed, she'll have a better chance outside (though she might've decided to climb a tree and got stuck).

She will be back...cats like to assert their authority from time to time. Don't give up hope not yet...even she is
a house cat kittties are crafty and cunning. Poor Dear kitty has you worried to death...she probablt thinks it's amusing. Something might have got her attention. If too much time passes check the pound and put up reward pics and in the paper. I hope she comes home soon.

My cat got out once through an open window, I don't know how long she was gone before I noticed but it was probably at least a day. Three days later I looked in my garage for something and there she was, hungry but otherwise OK. Hopefully things will turn out as good for you.

I had a male cat "escape" from inside, and I took a blanket that he'd been sleeping on (had his scent/hair all over it) and hung it outside on the fence. The breeze took his scent, and by the next day he'd found his way home! Try this.....can't hurt!

I would do a search of a few miles...calling her name. Also, you could make up some flyers and post them around. Call your local animal shelter and alert them, so if she comes in that way, they can give you a call.
I hope you find her!
The picture of the kitty for your avatar is beautiful!

Oh, I hope he didn't get out!
If you feed dry food, get the bag out, put some in a bowl and rattle the hell out of it. If he's like most cats he'll come running.
Cats hide in the damndest places.....perhaps yours is still in the house somewhere!

i understand this is sad, but most likely she won't survive, but if she does i found my cats never forget where they are fed! My one cat was gone for about 3-4 days and we were so worried but she came back eventually for food!
