I would make it at least 10 x 12 feet,6 feet high,with a tarp over the top to keep out the rain.This would give them plenty of exercise.You need to make it so that they can't dig out,which would mean putting railroad ties all around the outside or putting it on a cement slab.If you're going to be leaving the dogs out for a long period of time,they will need a warm doghouse as well,and of course food and water.

A very high fence! 5 or 6 feet. Russels can climb trees, they even have commercials on tv that show russels climbing trees. I've seen beagles climb trees. As long as there's no trees near the fence line, your good but i would still make it at least 4 feet without a doubt.

12ft by 12 ft. give them some room, they are very hyper. If you don't have a roof, you need to make it at least 6 ft. tall. Our jack russel, climbs right over our 4 foot fence.

6-7 feet just to be sure..........they can jump pretty high
