Ok when I was younger I had a lot of kitties and they where aloud to go out on the street and they kept dissappearing on me I was irresponsible. when I got older I got a new cat named seven I love him dearly and I don't let him go outside he's been fixed and everything he's great the only thing is that the little ****** dosent let me sleep. Every morning at five am he jumps like a little monkey on the bed he jumps on the drawers he knocks down stuff and it irritates the hell outta me. What is up with that?

It gets you up, doesn't it? And it gets him attention, even if it's for the wrong reason.. Sounds like he's trained you well...

i think that the cat is just really happy to see you!! (a little 2 happy maybe:)) don't get me wrong its great to have a good relationship with your cat by all means. my suggestion is that you find a spare room in your house for your cat to sleep in, put him there every night (this isn't wrong, if you had or have your own room, why can't your cat, he's just as independent as you if not more) and shut the door. that way he can't come into your room when you wake or any other time let alone mess up your room. trust me, this works, it works like a charm with my 2 cats and i had the exact some problem as you, minus the messing up room part.

good luck with that

the lilpuddycat has been here =^..^=

I can sympathize: My kitties used to do the same thing. They're pretty good about leaving me alone now because they know I will ignore them until I'm good and ready to get up.

Since you have trouble with him knocking stuff down, you may want to close him out of your room at night. You may even want to crate him.

Good luck!

he is a kitten he wants to play and he is trying to get ur attention, if you dont like it u shouldt have gotten a cat. my cat does that all the time and i love him so much he could do whatever he wants bc i love him unconditioanlly. you are not a true animal lover or cat person therefore you should not even have a cat if you cannot love him and let him play thast what they do. you should give him to someone who will love him and treat him good. you are not fit to even have a pet people like u get on my nerves!

My kitties do that around 5am too. I don't let them sleep with me anymore, if I have work the next day. I think they should grow out of it when they get older.

Get a large crate, place a litter pan and food and water in the crate and place him in there for the night. Worked for mine 3 cats.
