U.S. troops would need underground bases, to survive that onslaught, and even then, they would be buried alive, because bush doesn’t have nearly enough troops for a ground war.
Remember, bush and has even armed the Iraqi insurgents (against the U.S.) in that theater.

Thats some pretty deep and unlikely events. First take note WW3 will not be created because of 2 middle eastern countries siding and attacking. Just look Israel's 6 day war, were it was most of the middle east attacking Israel, but there was no World War. Secondly we have more nukes than anyone else, not the best political strategy, but thats how we get away w/ stuff. Thirdly I see no reason for major countries like China, Russia, or half of Europe bothering to get involved. So with that being said, IF that were to happen, I'm pretty sure Bush wouldn't need to rally, or if he did, not that hard. look at the World Trade Centers and how motivated the general populous became. 1st let me point out that we would be flooding our soldiers out of Turkey, Israel, and other nearby allied nations. Secondly while most recently we choose to do precision bombing doesn't mean the AF would carpet those countries in just a few flybys

Primary...and where do you get your information? From Ron Paul? From a liberal website? Some of my best friends are from Iraq. I attend the Middle Eastern New Year celebration every year. Much of my family is in Iraq right now. I was wounded in Iraq 1 or I would be, too. Iraq is NOTHING like you say. There is power to over 90% of the country. They do NOT have trouble getting fuel to about the same percentage. Most of the country is not afraid to walk down the streets for the first time in decades. Schools are open, people are more confident than they were before. They are playing in the parks and streets.
Sure, they are afraid to a certain degree. OF THE TERRORIST INSURGENTS!
Get off the BS liberal websites. Talk to someone who is from Iraq and still has family there.

I don't think you quite realize just how powerful our troops are when they fight together. It would take more than Iran and Iraq have together to pin down our troops. The reason there's so many insurgents alive today is because they don't stand and fight- they take potshots and run, or leave bombs on the side of the road.

See its not going to be just the US. Every country in the EU is opposed to Iran obtaining nuclear weapons. Russia and China are the only countries supporting them and Russia is motivated by the money they are getting from arms sales and nothing more. China is sort of like a bull in a china shop. They really haven't figured that their fat **** is knocking stuff over.

You can't really 'massacre' a well armed army. Massacre means slaughter of many who can't resist or resist much.
However, in your scenerio, if US troops are 'surrounded' and overwhelmed by the enemy, it is possible they can be all killed or captured. IF that does happen, Bush may bomb whom he thinks is responsible- possibly Iran.
However, a WW3 is a stretch. Unless Bush involves Russia and China in the war, it won't happen. But it will have to be a nuclear strike or a massive bombing to get Russia and China involved. When they get involved, yes, it's gonna be WW3.

open thoughts, Iraq is already 'wiped out'. With 650,000+ Iraqis killed and over 3 million displaced, do you really think they are obligated to anybody else? Most of the population don't get electricity but for only an hour or so a day, they can't get fuel for cooking, most cannot work...
To think the Iraqis are going be our friends forever is ridiculous. We are growing more terrorist groups by the day because of our occupation.

in war the main problem is logistics [getting soliders.supplys.to the Regine]if that buffoon decided to declare war then now would be the time.there is going to be more trouble in Iran and USSR .because of the oil pipelines!that run to the Persian gulf .all three country's are claiming them.[USA thru repreperation loans] .if the thought of oil is not brought up .then usa will win!
