My highschool has 2 buildings, a north and a south.. the north is 9-10 and the south is 11-12
The south was origionally for 9-12 but there was to many students .. So basically the south building has never been changed or repaired.. My mom went to the south highschool and she is 41

The south highschool has no air conditoning.. I think that is ridiculous for an american school to have no air conditioning.. Now it isnt THAT big of a problem, but ignoring the problem until it becomes a big problem wil not solve anything. IN the hotter summer months it can definatly reach the 100's and 90's .. I live in south jersey and we have some weird *** weather, it is currently around the 80's now and its october.. Last year it snowed not even 3 inches when we normaly get almost a foot of snow.. So basically its getting really hot due to global warming, and each summer gets worse.. What is my school waiting for, someone to die of heatstroke?

Although I think that all schools should have air conditioning, it is not a requirement.

I used to work as an IT Tech for Public Schools that had no AC and I thought I was going to die in the spring and summer months.

Be glad you didn't live in the 40s. Nobody had air conditioning. Be thankful for the times you live in. I doubt there is a requirement that a building have a/c, but for maximum comfort and best learning environment, they should get it.
