The danger zone for ANY food is 41-140 degrees Fahrenheit. A food that is being cooled needs to go from 140 to 41 in less than 4 hours to be safe. It takes 15 minutes for a bacteria to replicate itself. If you have 20 bacteria that were on your potatoes when the temp went into the danger zone, where bacteria grow best. you started out with 20 bacteria, in one hour you have 320, now start to think about how 320 bacteria will replicate in the following 23 hours. Millions of bacteria are on your potatoes.
DO NOT EAT THEM.

NO! eating baked potaos have risks just like many other food. It is best to just throw them out. I took sanitation classes and although some places heat potatos up a day beofre that is not sanitary because there might be a chance that when they were extracted from the ground that they got peirced with the hoe or what ever was used to get them out and by being peirce it lets bactiria in and yes they die when heated but after a while they trun into spours and they do not die when heated you could get sick. but that is only a chance. look it up online.

How could you forget about them?? Did you get stoned or something?? The oven isn't "sealed" therefore flys and stuff can get in there and lay their eggs on your food. I wouldn't eat it since it's had 24 hours to grow bacteria. Even a long nuking won't kill everything.
Potatos are cheap enough just throw em out and "bake" them in the microwave until easily pierced with a fork. Then do what you want with them.

Theyre fine if they've been kept inside the oven. You could scoop out the inside, mash and heat with butter a little milk, and black pepper. Also you could fry up the skins. I would .

here's the thing.... take your potatos -- make 1/2" slices -- saute some chopped onion in 1/2 inch oil in frying pan for a couple of minutes-- add the potatos.. fry in hot oil till browned & a bit crisped. take it all out & drain on paper towel or paper bag. sprinkle w/ salt & pepper. serve w/ sour cream
sterile & delicious!!!

They should be ok. They don't have protein in them.
Just heat them up and enjoy.
