America is to beer as Europe is to wine. The best micro-breweries are right down the street no matter what city you live in. San Diego has Karl Storss which is amazing, even Yuma AZ has 3 micro breweries. Look close to you and stay away from anything Anhimer Bush puts out.

The champagne of beers is, unquestionably, Chimay Grande Reserve. Comes in a champagne-style bottle and is absolutely life-altering if you're used to coors and miller. Even has a cork!

Steinlager Pure from New Zealand. It's just been released and I won't buy anything else. No additives or preservatives. Just fresh, pure ingredients from New Zealand. Perfect after a hard days work.

I like either Sam Adams Light or George Killian's depending on my mood and how much I plan on drinking. Killian's has a very creamy smooth flavor that I really like but the hangover just killls me.
