They are going to say NO in public, but you had better follow witness theology to be a survivor of Armageddon.

Your question was not specific enough for them to give you a direct answer.

Next time ask them what it takes to survive Armageddon.

I was wondering where in the Bible it says that salvation is through accurate knowledge, and if that is so, there is not a single Witness that will be saved....what about What Jesus taught about how one gets saved, or is that secondary to what the Governing Body teaches?

Please consider these Bible texts.

that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous – Acts 24:15

“And if the righteous [man] is being saved with difficulty, where will the ungodly [man] and the sinner make a showing – 1 Pet 4:18

Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Mat 7:21

JWs believe that we have to do the will of the Father and EXERCISE FAITH in Jesus and his Father (John 3:16, Isa 43:10-11, John 14:1) in order to be saved. There is a difficulty for those who don’t know Jesus and the Father . Jehovah to be saved, but we let Jesus do the judging. (1 Pet 4:18). So even if someone is a JW but not doing God’s will, how can he be saved? (Mat 7:21).

We also recognize that our salvation comes from God and his Son, Jesus. Rev 7:10- Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah’s Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the “great tribulation,” and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. We look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. He has committed judgment into Jesus’ hands, not ours.—Matthew 7:1-5 -24:21; 25:31.

Do I as a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses believe this?? I will tell you, I believe who goes where is up to God. I know that before we were even known as Witnesses there were many good people who strived to serve Jehovah, I would imagine they will be resurrected.

In answer to those who claim to know my faith but don't: We do NOT believe in the idea of hellfire.

The entire Christian Greek Bible testifies to the fact that Jesus has a congregation of believers that will exist during the judgment.

Christ's congregation consists of all those who are anointed at any given period. These chosen ones are referred to in Scripture as Christ's brothers. Being one of Christ's brothers is a very honored privilege. Jehovah's chosen ones are very special to him.

That is why one aspect of the basis for Christ's judgment of non-anointed persons is how they treat Christ's spiritual brothers. That is explained in Matthew 25:31-46, in the so-called illustration of the sheep and goats.

Since the Scriptures indicate that Christ gathers all of his chosen brothers into one congregation, that means that there is only one organized religion that Christ recognizes as belonging to himself.

It is not a matter of "joining" some religion, but if you believe in Jehovah and his Messiah, then at some point, in order to gain salvation you will also have to recognize who Jesus' brothers are and demonstrate your support of them during their hardship.

saved is not the word they use, but the gist of the word, and it is yes. "be no part of this world" is their favourite saying, and after a few rounds of beating the children and drunk driving, they go for a good round of adultery, whereupon they are disfellowshipped, and after much lamentations are re-instated and merrily , merrily , merrily, they go back to being the fashionable cultists that they are. thank you for the thumbs down in advance, and I apologize for knowing your religion better than you do.

Technically, yes.

But the catch is, there's only so many spots in Heaven, so even if you are a JW, you might not get in.

If I remember correctly, there's a very limited number of slots.

But in a surprising turn of compassion, everyone else isn't made to suffer for all eternity. But then on the other hand, there's that whole 'no blood' thing.
