I raised my children as atheists because I had no spiritual beliefs at that time. I have recently been introduced to Wicca and I find the study of energy and nature to be what I was spiritually lacking before. And I agree with an earlier post, if you are one of the people that gave a thumbs down to someone else's beliefs, then you are blocking the road to world peace. Teach your children religious tolerance, and use yourslef as an example.

I am Roman Catholic. BUT......I have gotten to the place in life now where I can see why a lot of people have fallen away from the Churches. There is so much hypocrisy there. It is all about the Almighty dollar bill. Too much about socialising, too little about God. It seems like inside the church we hear more about money and what is going on outside than we do with on the outside. I am frustrated by the acts certain priests are guilty of. I don't believe the Catholic church can buy their freedom. Far too much controversy for such a lovely religion. I won't fall out of religion, just fall to another church.
I feel as long as you believe and have faith the Lord understands.

My belief system is what I refer to as Pagan Influenced Christianity. I worship only the Holy Trinity but often do so by using Pagan Rituals as a way to connect with the Creator.

Brightest Blessings

Sshh... I shouldn't toot off about it but I'm actually Wiccan. I truly believe in the Craft and it changed my life. It teaches you to respect the Earth and all its inhabitants.
Wiccan Rede:
Bide the Wiccan Law ye must,
In perfect love, in perfect trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfil:
An harm ye none, do what ye will.
What ye send forth comes back to thee,
So ever mind the rule of three.
Follow this with mind and heart,
And merry ye meet, and merry ye part.

Theravada Buddhist. It is the oldest sect of Buddhism taken straight from the Buddhas teachings. The Buddha did not encourage blind faith, instead he encouraged to test his teachings on enlightenment and suffering out in their own lives and question everything not only he tought them, but anyone else tought them as well.

After studying all religions, the Buddhist philosophy matched up with my own views of the human condition and the causes of suffering, I have found this out more as I have gone along through the last year using these teachings in my way of life, and I'm soon to take a two week trip to Thailand to further my studies with the monks.

I am my own religion.
I believe in the human race; they made God.

The road to attain "eternity" is when human start pooling knowledge (stop the man killing man crabp) either to help extend "earth's life" (no more damage to our home called earth), clone another earth (so we can all move there when this one expires), or build a space shuttle to find another habitat. Eternity of mankind is by extending our race, NOT annihilating mankind.

Islam. I believe that all children are born Muslim and in a state of Al Fitrah which is belief in one God. I believe that when a person reverts to Islam as an adult they are coming back to the religion they were born in. It is the parents who make the child a Jew, Christian, Muslim, etc. I believe in all the Prophets from Adam to Muhammad(PBUT*) and I believe in the Torah that was revealed to all the Prophets up to Moses(PBUT*), the Bible that was shown to Jesus(PBUH*), the Qur'an that was shown to Muhammad(PBUH*) and the Psalms that were shown to Dawud(PBUH*). I believe that Jesus(PBUH*) is the son of Mary and that he is nothing but a Prophet. I don't believe that God has any partners or sons. I believe that the original Torah and Injeel(bible) were corrupted and altered from their original state by mankind. I believe that God sent the Qur'an to Muhammad(PBUH*) as a guidance for all mankind and to prove that Islam is the religion of God and that Muhammad(PBUH*) is the final Messenger and slave of God. I believe that there is only one God worthy of worship. I don't believe in a "Trinity" and believe it is a false blaspheme against God that Christians worship. I don't believe that Christians today follow Jesus(PBUH*) and his original message to worship only God in Islam and instead worship 3 different Gods instead of the 1 God(ALLAH).
