If you are referring to the sites that drop down when you start to type an address that is the history. Just go to options in your browser and clear history. You can also set the number of days to keep it.

There are 2 ways to get to this. One being if you are in IE go to tools> internet option. You can go go to start>control panel>internet options. Once you are at the internet options you will see delete (if using IE7)>delete history or clear browsing history (IE6). This will remove any addresses that you typed into the address bar.

go to either tools or control panel, internet option on control panel, options on tools, and then clear your cache, cookies and temp files. there may also be a box to check to remove history when the browser is closed.

delete history, it's a function of your browser - not Vista.
