Yes. I'm a classical singer, and you absolutely HAVE TO in Italian opera ;-)
It's great fun, too. I keep entertaining my baby brother with it.
edit: you mean with the tip of your tongue against your gums, right?
edit: yes, that's what I mean. That's the way I do it, and the funnies thing ever is when, at the same time, you start singing scales (or simply slide your voice as high and low as it can go. From the lowest to highest note and back!)

yeah..
some times i accidentally do it in normal conversation.
even though i don't have any kind of accent..
it usually happens when i say 3 ...
i think it's cause i have a long tongue er something
i can touch my nose with my tongue!
