my friend says that he's going to die from bottled up rage. Can u actually die from it?

Unless he can get help from a qualified mental health professional, he might infact get very sick and maybe even pass on as a result of his bottled up stress. So yes, bottled up stress CAN indeed kill him. Seriously, I've really heard of that happening.

Go for a run or do some exercises. It does help clear the mind and put things in perspective. Screaming works too, I have done that before, just let it out. If you are afraid of doing it in front of people, scream into a pillow. Whatever it takes - or keep a journal. There are my ideas - hope it helped. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate, unfortunately people can not always see that, especially siblings, and friends. Sometimes a good time-out from everyone works too.

The person I knew with extreme rage (not always bottled up) also suffered from extremely high blood pressure.
His Dr. was concerned that his rage would push the blood pressure so high that he would have a stroke.

Yeah, you can actually die from a stroke.
