Not my style, I would never go to the boss about soething like that, I deal with the small stuff person to person.
Running to the boss with every small complaint about others not only creates stress among staff but attracts the wrong sort of attention ~ it's easy to get a reputation as a complainer, and that can go against you in future.
The only exception would be if I felt that the comments were part of a pattern of bullying or harrassment of someone (again, not me, I can stand up for myself, lol). BUT, if I knew someone else was being bullied with snide comments, I would probably say something to someone about it, the bully or even the boss if it was serious.
But as a one time thing? C'mon, you cannot be THAT sensitive in the workplace, or you'll go home in tears every day!
Good luck :-)

No. I would think (or hope) that your boss would notice this. I don't think that you should have said this though. I'm sure that the person knew the uniform was wrinkled. Maybe there were things happening and this person was not able to rid the uniform of the wrinkles. Just be glad that they were able to make it to work.

Who would do something like that? Are people that sensitive now? It shouldn't hurt their feelings that their uniform is wrinkled and they shouldn't tell on you. It's childish.

Say what???
Are you trying to tell us that you told a person that they had on a wrinkled uniform and they told the boss? What on earth did you do. Point at them, scream it at the top of your lungs and do a little dance around them?
Does this person have all of their mental facilities? Doesn't sound like it to me.
Would I tell on you? Nope. If it p!ssed me off I'd probably ignore you or tell you to bite me!

What are you in third grade? Unless you were extremely rude about it I don't think that the boss should have been informed. Maybe next time it would be better to mention it to the boss instead of the coworker and let him take care of the problem.

um no. I would tell you that I didn't care that my uniform was wrinkled and I wondered why you cared enough to bother me about it. Then I would ..lol...I would gossip about you behind your back to other people..like..omg she just slagged off my uniform....watch out if your clothes are wrinkled...the uniform police are here. I wouldn't mean any harm tho. ok. well. a little. :]]

I'd tell you that I thought you were rude and then I'd only mention to the boss if you had a habit of being rude.
