Wow I really hate my job. I work at Papa Murphys. I honestly feel like crap every single time i go there and its not rewarding. I get my paycheck and sure keeps me going but crap it sucks. People think its fun making pizza but crap it sucks. having to get it done at a certain time hearing customers mouths and even employees mouths. I have worked there for around 1 month and it sucks. I am already thinking about changing to a different job. I always hear crap about how slow I go considering the fact that all I wnat to do is make sure i am doing it right. Sometimes they do it so quickly they miss something that the customer wanted etc. I am now thinking of getting a job at Albertsons. Wouldnt mind that just clean bathrooms, push carts, and bagging groceries. I would rather do that then this. What do you think?

If you hate THAT work so much, go ahead and get some other place to work. There is nothing wrong with finding something you like.

But, if you start to see a pattern, that is, everywhere you go, you hate your job, then you need to really start watching yourself. (I noticed you said "crap" half dozen times)

I have a co-worker who basically have the same job. We basically went from one position to another, not intentionally but following each other in one way or another. On every job, I thought I had a great opportunity, and on every job he hated everyone and everything. Sure, there are downside to every job and I see them, but all-in-all, the benefit far outweighted the downside. (as far as I was concerned)

So, clearly, it's not the job... it's him.

I encourage you to find a new job. I just caution you, watch yourself and don't get trapped in finding a fault on every job you get.

It's hard for me to blame you for hating your job. The jobs such as yours in the fast food and other service related industries, seem to have the customer on the bottom of their priority list, and that really bothers me. I don't think it's just your pizza place, either. I've noticed several other ones that are beginning to skimp on their ingredients, and the pies are inferior.

I'm the kind of person that would rather have the bathroom cleaning, or grocery bagging job, too. Not as much dealing with the public, and as long as you do your job, no one will complain.

If you really hate your job, it's time to get out. Nobody should get up every day and go do something that they hate. Try to find something that you enjoy, or at least something that you hate less than what you do now.

Work is work, it is a responsibility but you shouldn't have to hate going in. Do you have other work experience? If so, you should look for another job. If not, I suggest you stay at Papa Murphys for at least 6 months so that you can gain as much experience as possible and have better job opportunities in the future. Most jobs require at least 6 months experience. Good luck

You should try to find a job where it is more important to be accurate than fast. Generally, jobs managing money probably have as much need for accuracy as any other job. I'd start by looking at bank tellers' jobs. They pay notoriously poor to start, but you work in a clean building with a safe and armed guards.

If you're going to be unhappy where you work then it is better for you to move. You don't need to keep that job. I don't think money is worth getting if you're going to be miserable there. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I would go where you are happiest. No need in filling your life with stress.
