between the two: mozzarella - definitely.
However i love Cambonzola (sainsbury's), dolcelatte, scamorza, lerdammer and brie as well. At times, as a complement on top of pizza(four cheeses ot margherita): few splashes of double cream and gorgonzola. Delicious. But do not tell anyone about my little ever successful secret. You can conquer anyone with that.......

It depends on what you are using it for. if someone was choosing cheese for a sandwhich for me I would not chose swiss( the american kind, that you buy in the deli) but there are so many different types of swiss that are wonderful.

Depends on what you're having. Mozzerella is a good choice and my personal favorite is Monterrey Jack. Any sharp Cheddar is good.
