You don't get leave in between basic and AIT. You will get about 10 days after AIT is finished and you have your first orders.

Sorry but you wont get leave you will be give a certain amount of time to travel from BCT to AIT , it may just be 1 day or 2 at most depending on where you go for ait, now if your talking about during Christmas break I am not sure they should explain that to you at MEPS.
Good luck , come back and tell us how it was being in extended Basic ( If you will be leaving during that trail time frame)

It depends on where the next duty station is and when the bus leaves! There is no offical leave between basic and AIT - the soldier "ships out" that day or the next to their gaining command unless they are at OSUT(one stop training) and then they just transfer to another barracks room. After AIT they can sometimes get PCS leave but many times must report into the gaining command first.

It depends, sometimes you don't get leave you just go straight from BCT to AIT. In my case, we graduated right before thanksgiving so we got the weekend off then it was straight to AIT.

none. NO leave is authorized between basic training and reporting to school. NO leave is authorized during school EXCEPT for the two weeks between Christmas and New Years, and in many cases you can only take one week off.

my son got a whole day to spend with he family, we had traveled to be with him and the then on the Sunday he was off to his next stage, there is NO leave [at least in the Air Force] he was able to take a couple of weeks after trade school prior to going to another country, but that came out of his leave and was not just given to him.
