Perhaps you misunderstood and she was referring to Odilon Redon (oh-dee-yohn ruh-dohn) born April 22, 1840, died July 6, 1916, who was a Symbolist painter and printmaker, born in Bordeaux, Aquitaine, France.

Redon was known for his bizarre paintings and sensibilities and was interested in a distinct perversion of the soul. He describes this more in a letter he wrote in 1871:
"But the soul must be made monstrous: in the fashion of the comprachicos, if you will! Imagine a man implanting and cultivating warts on his face."

Redon also described his work as ambiguous and undefinable:
"My drawings inspire, and are not to be defined. They place us, as does music, in the ambiguous realm of the undetermined."

Redon's work represented an exploration of his internal feelings and psyche. He himself wanted to "place the visible at the service of the invisible"; thus, although his work seems filled with strange beings and grotesque dichotomies, his aim was to represent pictorially the ghosts of his own mind.

Ohnoism? Lol! Maybe Odinism..? Odin is the allfather of Norse/Germanic beliefs. Odinism may be similar to Heathenism or Asatru. Not sure.

Odinism?
If she said Odinism, it's a path with in Asatru or Heathenism, the reconstruction of the Norse.
I don't have another guess lol

An onanist is one who masturbates and when used to describe someone it may mean one who is a compulsive. It's not a religion (though it's name comes from judaism).

sounds like it may have been yoko ono. It isn't a real religion. She probably made it up.
