I think they're just being kids. It's irritating, but normal. If you want to get them to stop, make them watch The Notebook, then threaten to play it whenever they act out.

If this is in a daycare you have to do what the daycare rules say! If it is an ongoing problem write a note on the daily sheet for the parents. Maybe there is something going on at home and it is bothering the child? You never know what the underlining cause is. Give the child a chance and just be more patient with them and understanding. Talk to them.

I can't believe that SPANKING is the first words out of some peoples mouths......on here....YIKES.........Whayyyy wrong answer.....

In daycare, I would guess that you are getting right in front of their little faces and then telling them what you desire them to do...When they don't there are consequences, and this should be discussed with all the kids so they know what is expected of them, and what the consequences are if they do not follow the rules of the room......If in a group setting, you have to make it fun, for their age level to follow instructions, and mind....you. If not again there are consequences. You have to have the upperhand always. And always be one step ahead of them. Change the activity often to help keep them interested. Since, you didn't elaborate on a particular situation, I take it it is the entire group......Get Control or find another job.

Take away some privleges every time it happens. Don't threaten to do it, just do it. That will get their attention.

Tell them they'll spend their recess writing sentences if they don't do as you say.

discipline. take away their stuff. ground them from going outside, isolate them from their friends. until they behave, until they say sorry. until they don't want to do it again. if they do it again, it's taking away television, games, and yell at them in the face saying who's your daddy!!

lol i don't have children yet but maybe someday.
