I know this sounds mad, I can not cry. I mean a tear comes out by the wind in my face and when I go near onions. But when am sad and really down, I can not cry. When I was young, I got bulled a lot and cried all the time. But 7 years has gone bye and in those 7 years. My Nan has died, my grampar died and a lot of other sad thing has happened and not one sad tear. If fills like my sole is screaming at me, but still nothing. Do not get me rung, I am not an emo. I all ways have a smile on my face, laughs at things and do silly stuff. My friends and family think I’m happy and well. But i think I’m going to run out of happy juice and wind up as a mad man. Sometimes I think I’m a monster or something, I fell like I need to let out all my sadness in me and I do not know how. I’ve tried sad songs and movies. Do you think this is rung and do you think I’m a monster! I do not mind what you say; I just laugh it off…. Like all ways.

You are not a monster just because you cannot cry. It sounds to me that having gone through what you have that you are a very strong person.

Sometimes when bad things in life we learn to surpress our emotions. This can sometimes be on a subconscious level.

The fact that you come here and expressed yourself is the first step towards releasing some of your built up emotions that you have kept surpressed. It is o.k. to talk to people about how you feel. It is not a sign of weakness, in fact, it often takes courage to speak about your feelings.

You seem like a very positive person with a good mental attitude and this is good because it helps you to cope in life. Just because you cannot cry it does not mean that you have no feelings for others, or that you are heartless, so stop worrying.

Stop giving yourself a hard time, give yourself a break. You have coped really well and still are. Be kinder to yourself.

Blessings x

i think alot of people go through this maybe more so in men, but people are different and some will cry some wont some will get angry and some wont, i think you should just stay as lovely as you are happy and smiley and maybe the sadness will come out in a few years, but don't beat your self up your not a monster just human, at least you took the time to look at your self and your hardships most people wouldn't give there past a second glance now that's damaging x

No, you're not a monster. You are dealing with things the best way you can.
Not everyone CAN break down and bawl when they're sad or upset - I'm guessing there would be a lot of people walking the streets in tears if that were the case.
However - you are worried about it. This means you don;t feel right about it and need some help.
Try your doctor - hopefully he could direct you to a counsellour that would be able to talk to you about your feelings and help you understand yourself a little better.

You have somehow managed to process the opinion that "real men don't cry," so you won't let yourself.

If you ever do manage to break-down the barriers you've raised and have a deep soul stirring cry, you will feel wonderful!

In any case, no you are not a monster. You are capable of feeling emotions, and presumably capable of empathy.

If you have to, try to find an absolutely private, where the possibility of someone coming across you is near zero and try to feel as sad as you can. If it does not work, try to talk to a councilor.

you are not alone a lot of men are unable to cry, when they really want to, sometimes i feel it's because it was instilled into them that big men don't cry, when in turth it's the opposite, don't worry those tears will come one day it may be through joy as opposed to sadness, you are not going mad honest.

I don't think you need to cry to let it out. You just have a different way of going about it. Know that there are plenty of people out there that don't cry easy either. Perhaps you weren't meant to cry. If you really want to let it out, pray that you'll find a way. Every one has their own way of doing it.
