a friend of mine told me the other day that I am the sweetest guy she knows, and she means it from the bottom of her heart. does that mean that our friendship for now is sealed or does it mean theres the possibility of more???

duck foo is right you have found the friend zone. But let me also say that I have fallen for two of my best guy friends (at separate times of corse). So maybe all hope is not lost. But I wouldn't suggest you keep on with this girl just in case she changes her mind.

This could mean a lot of things. Ask her to dinner. If she says yes and pats your arm she is a friend. If she says yes and gets giddy and nervous then she likes you. Also if she pays for her own dinner without even letting you have the chance to offer then she is definitely a friend. If she doesn't even reach for the bill you are in like Flynn. Pay attention to the vibes she is giving off. Good luck.

I'd say friendship but is could go further if she really gets to know you usually we look for sweet guys and find them and keep them around as friends and than realize we are in love with them

Well, is she single? "Test" how close she is to you. If you think she likes you, ask her out. However, some girls do have that brotherly love for guys friends. Most guys can tell when a girl like him though. Well, that was the way it is with me (I'm kind of obvious though ha ha).

I always tell people this about my best guy friend, and never have intentions of taking anything further. However, every situation is different, and maybe a sweet guy is what she is looking for. Guess you'll just have to ask her!

The only time it's ok for a girl to say you're sweet is if she saw you do something nice for your girlfriend. Kind of like "Aww that's so sweet look what you did for her" and in their mind they could be thinking "I wish my boyfriend did that for me if he ever becomes single he's mine!" or something to that effect...
Having said that it sounds like you are in the friend zone yes.

Usually when a girl says that, she's really fond of you. But sometimes it doesn't so be careful. Maybe you should ask her what she meant by that.
