I think if he likes you he will let you know somehow...
It's ok to be shy but still give lil hints...
Just look at him a lot, make sure he sees u, then look away. If you can stare and smile then thats your best bet.
Or ask him what he's doin after school...

Just go up to him and talk. Talk about school, family, sports, interests. Ask him questions. People like people who show an interest in them personally. In other words, don't worry so much about being cool. Just think....I want to get to know him better...and then let the questions come naturally. That's what you want to do, right? Get to know him? Because right now, all you know is that you think he's cute.
