Please Read!! I'm in 7th grade now but the guy i saw at the football game was my 4th grade boyfriend. He's gotten even cuter over the years and i like him again. Just one problem. He went to Liberty junior high and i went to plains junior high. it was last friday that i saw him and he was on their football team. i didn't have the guts to talk to him but we smiled at each other.now i wish i would have asked him for his number.
i probably won't see him again until next year so i'm thinking of asking my friend for his number and call him. So should i call him? What should i do? (Pleez some real answers)

I would definitely ask get the number and call him up and ask what he's been up to lately. Just act casual and be cool. Say you saw him at the game and wanted to talk to him since it has been a while. At the end of you conversation tell him to call you later; make sure he is going to call at some point. Plan out the conversation before you call like what you want to ask him or what you want to talk about. If you do this then it will help you avoid unwanted and wierd silences.

First rule you should always remember, don't ask someone else for another person's number. The reason for this is because some people are really private about those types of things. People tend to want to give out their own phone numbers rather than allowing a friend to pass it out. You really should have had the guts to go and approach him. Try finding him yourself, obviously you know what middle school he goes to, try finding out his football schedule and attending one of his games, afterwards approach him and catch up. Either way, you need to find another way to communicate with him besides asking someone else to give up his number without his permission.

There is no reason not to call him. I know it is a nerve racking experience at your age, but learning to just talk and have a conversation with no strings or expectations attached is a key to maturity. After you get to know him again, THEn decide if you like him, not just because he just keeps getting cuter ; )
