She agrees to give him the potion after he solves a task for her.

The answer I believe is simply.
Diamond
The Hardest Stone on earth = Diamond
The Brightest Spark of light = Diamond synchrotron
Well of life to end suffering = Diamonds are worth a lot of money and money makes a good life and diamonds are a girls best friend to end his suffering

she wants you to marry her with a diamond - stone, in the ocean, well of life, and there will be or should be fireworks - spark of light, when you marry because you two are suited for one another
