If you catch melanoma early enough, (a weird, oddly shaped, oddly colored, bleeding mole), then you should have it removed ASAP, and if it was early enough, the person who had it has the same life expectancy as anyone else. The key thing is early diagnosis and treatment.

That depends on the size of the melanoma dn whether it was a secodnary infection or a primary infection. If primary and it was got out in time then you might be able to live till you are real old, but if it was secondary then you might not have long, maybe 5 years at most.
