It is not the religion that contributes to hate it is the people inside of the religion that do so. This hatred between the athiest and the christians has to stop. Each person is entitled to there own religion or belief. I do not care if it is satanic that is there given right to be such. I will back down when they backdown. Not until. I raise funds for Saint Judes Cancer Research Center for children. I auction off my own musical instruments or have a raffle. All of the proceeds go to Saint Judes for the beautiful children. Give them a chance please people open up your blind eyes and look at what we have. Bless each and every one of them. They are the innocence of this World.

Hello dear!
You are so to the point! So close that most people either don't have objection to your idea, or they don;t even see there is a problem!
Since the time of the Judaic religions the problem is not justice, love, progress, ..., but how to exterminate the "unnecessary" others and promote the interests and wealth of our religion's properties (and this is the only interest of the leaders)!

What happens there is horrible. But what I believe is that the most important human right is the right to follow one's soul and the natural state of the soul is being in submission to God. If one is in submission all the other rights follow. If one isn't they don't. You can be moral without religion but that how does one understand right from wrong? They go by what "feels good" but that is NOT the same for everyone. Therefore, we need the rules of religion to be the moral standard.

what does that have to do with religion? yes, it might be religion in those parts that cause suffering, but is religion itself really the contribution to the suffering? isn't it the people themselves who choose to do this, and not their religion? after all, you as an atheist wouldn't believe in God or any gods, so it can't be them that direct them to do so.

My question to you is why do people mix up human behavior with religion?

Also, not to say that atheism itself is a hateful religion, or to say that all atheists are hateful, but christians, jews, and muslims aren't the only ones who have hte capability to be hateful. That too has to do with human behavior over religion.

I really can't do much for humgry people, seeing that i'm too young to do work, and don't have time (i really don't) to babysit or something for money, however, i try to donate whatever i can to my school's program whose money contributions go to hurricane katrina and building new homes.

and also, after rereading your details, i'm not sure you have your facts straight. you say that christians, jews, and muslims are caring about their holy santuaries, and because of that palestinians suffer. (these are just my thoughts, not actual facts i know for sure) But isn't that they just ignore them, rather than ignoring them because of their religions?

Most of the wars right now are over religion. I have worked in a homeless center preparing food for needy people. I do try and live a moral and religion-free life.

What is weird about this is that the other Arab countries
(since 1948) refused to accept the refugee Palestinians into
their nations b/c they wanted to make a "point" about
Israel! That is VERY frustrating! A little tiny plot of land
and all those people!

Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam once said: "When a Jew recites 'Hear O Israel, the Lord your G-d, the Lord is One' he should have in mind rejecting all idolatry in the world, including Zionism, which is also idolatry."-------- www.NKUSA.org

The Chazon Ish once said:

i feel that you don't know what is the meaning of religion. religion is a set of rules and orders that guid us in our life. and one of thouse rules show us how to treat each other so i think the problem is not religions the real problem is in us human. you should not be ashamed from religions who contribute to hate because there isn't any. people who decide i hate this person or i love that.

You are right - men acting religiously are not the wisest men and their egos are inflated and get in the way of God.

Spirituality is totally different.

Your last question - I give a monthly offering to a ministry that goes out to feed the hungry and have now for about 4 years, and donate when I can to different charities.

I don't think any religion teaches its follower to hate others. People themsleves become narrow minded and can only see themselves on right path and think all others are derailed who follow other religions.
