Recently the state government PASSED legislation that allows state and local law enforcement to enforce existing immigration laws, STOPS all free public services to illegals, and harshly punishes employers tthat hire illegals.
Hey Washington pay attention this is what the american people want. Who would have thought that the U.S. would have to look to Oklahoma to show us the way? How long will it take the rest of the country to follow?

It is great news. I hear that Georgia is on the way to implementing the same laws, and it has been projected that the rest of the South will follow. It will take some time, though.

Well, entering the U.S. other than through a legal port of entry is a Federal Felony!
So, illegals are already criminals the minute they set foot in the country.
As for "paying taxes" they shouldn't even be here in the first place so that's a redundant statement!
Good on Oklahoma!
Being against criminal activity is not "bigotted."
Being of Irish descent I wouldn't want a million Irish illegals in this country either!
I'd arrest and deport them FIRST, just to set the example!

Well, the ACLU hasn't sued, yet, so we'll see if this holds up in court. Frankly, I hope it does, but you know how the system works. H*ll, the Pelosi Congress may pass a resolution condemning this action by Oklahoma.

There are in fact several other states that are doing the same thing. I have to applaud Oklahoma for doing whats right.

well at the best it should take around election time for the other states to start listening to the voters, they already need to recall the governor of New York I would not want a loon like that running my state

Yeah--the Okies areknown for their bigotry. Oh--BTW--since you aren't going to allow the illegals to have any public services, I assume you're also willing to exempt them from ALL taxes? (Contrary to the lies of the right-wing, they do pay all the same taxes everyone else does). And--bear in mind, the illegals haven't committed any crimes--being here illegally is a civil violation--like a parking ticket.
