Everyone is entitled to beliefs, so Im not going to knock yours. But, I have to ask one question:
Why is it, whenever you watch these shows or hear these people giving a reading, everything they say is POSITIVE?? How come they never run into a "spirit" that tells them "Dude, Im burning in Hell and it SUCKS!!! WARN everybody!!! I am HATING the afterlife!" Instead, everything they ever say is feel-good stuff directed to the person who is grieving for a lost one...
Doesnt that make you the least bit suspect that its a scam?? I just dont understand why any spirit a "medium" has ever contacted has never reported a negative experience in death...
Please discuss.

why do you think mediumship has been deemed an abomination ?

spirit tell us that EVERYONE goes to the next life
there are levels of spirit ... and yes some lower levels
but NO Hell
there are also laws that spirit have to abide by that would prevent those in the lower realms from getting in touch
although there are spirit guides who have been to the lower realms so we know a lot about them

spirit dont actually come to us ... not in the way you imagine
it is a mind to mind link with spirit...
they dont want to come back here and hang out with us
but they do want us to hear them
simply because they want us to know that death isnt the end and to encourage us to live this life to the best of our ability
we are all too concerned about the next life
they actually want us to live this one and not be so concerned and worried about death

You're right. It's similar to the psychic who tells you how you were a famous person in a past life and not some leper who starved to death.
These frauds like Sylvia Browne and John Edward are parasites who tell their credulous victims exactly what they want to hear. The information provided is also so vague--"There was a man in someone's life...I'm seeing an M or a J. He died...it was something in his chest or his head..."
But cold reading can only get the medium so far. The creative editing afterwards and the creative remembering on the part of the gullible victim that helps smooth out the rough parts.
It's disheartening to see someone's memory of a deceased loved one tarnished by this sort of cheap scam.

Oh there, have been, just not on TV. Do a google search on bad oija board stories. Man, those are freaky.
Yes, I know ... but there is more that we don't know, than that which we do... and there's a whooooolllle lot out there in the "unknown" that is just waiting to trip you out. Can't tell me you would sleep easy in an abandoned sanitarium for a couple nights alone.... heheh... happy halloween.

Bad new sells when it comes to network news but not with relatives when they hear from their dead loved ones. Its obvious "mediums" don't want to alienate the paying gullible so the news stays upbeat.

Its the same reason why all the people who claim to be reincarnated were all Knights, Generals, Princesses and Queens. They were never "Ike the Drain Cleaner" or "Mary the Whore".
It's different ends of the same wish-fulfillment fantasy; "My life sucks, wouldn't it be great if it was different or I could believe that there was something better for me at the end"

By observing your question it is clear to me that you don't realize what hell really is. No one wants to go to hell, but didn't you know? Hell is not a place where one goes to roast and burn forever in a fiery pit. Hell is Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, the common grave for mankind.
The mix up is when false religious leaders began to miscontrue what "hell fire" meant in the Bible and so today it has become so convaluted to a point where most people believe that hell is where bad people go where they are tortured forever.

At Armageddon there will be final death meaning all wicked humans in the earth will be destroyed permanently, but they are not going to a place where they will roast and burn forever. Job makes light of hell, Jesus does also, so your own personal study and prayer along with guidance from elders will gain you accurate knowledge about this matter, hell.

bro it is a scam cause im daly haughted by friends whom killed their selfs back n high school n friends ive lost n the game if ya know what i mean. they r truely evil spirts out their but as far as the show mediums most of them r true christians so most spirts runn from them any way
