Are you a single woman, do you have more than 2 cats, do you talk to your cats, do you smell like cat pee.....

i know exactly what you are talking about. i used to work at walmart and the cat ladies would come through my line with like 100 cans of cat food and 5 bags of litter. they would smell like urine....no lie. thats how i found out what a "cat lady" is.

I'm married....I have three cats and would have more if hubby would agree... I do talk to my cats, I even mind my mannors with them and treat them like members of the family....But no, I don't smell like cat pee, in fact, if you were to walk into my house you wouldn't know I had any cats at all...And on another note, I'm not crazy..And why does it matter...If someone can take care of several cats, give them the care they need, why does it matter how many they have.. It is far better than having them put to death or live in a tiny cage with hardly any contact.

I'm married with two kids and one cat. No, I don't think I'm a crazy cat lady. I do talk to my cat, but I certainly don't smell like cat pee!

When the 'crazy cat lady' made her first appearance on 'The Simpsons', I was watching it with an old friend of mine, He knew me pretty well and seeing how I had just been suckered with yet another sick and homeless kitten, despite the fact that I had 5 previous orphans, some of them for quite a few years, I instantly looked over to see his reaction, which was no less than I expected. He was laughing heartily under his breath whilst avoiding my stare!
Now some time on I have 7 full grown cats, but it cannot be said I smell of cat pee! I know people who don't own cats who smell of cat pee [or some such odour!], I spend far too much time on not only my hygiene but theirs also! I mean my cats'! Not my friends or anyone elses!
As to whether or not I talk to them? Of course I do! It is only polite when they go to so much effort to communicate with me! Plus it helps to pass the time. Well surely it is better than staring vacantly into space whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, or the washer to spin, the microwave to 'ding',, the....well you catch my drift!
Though I add here that I also listen to 'theirselves' as apparently [they tell me..] I still have much to learn, even after decades of cat care! Ha ha!

Married with 4 cats. Want more but hubby says no, for now. We just lost our oldest and he's not ready. My orange cat enjoys conversation; he will talk and talk! Why would someone smell like cat pee?

Except for smelling like pee, I think so! I have three cats, but would like more. I have told my friends the ideal number is 47 (because 50 is too many, and 49 is too close to 50, and 48 is too close to 49)...jokingly, of course, but it sometimes does sound appealing. AND my middle name is Eleanor, which is the name of the crazy cat lady on The Simpsons! Destiny, perhaps.

I have 2 cats but if I was allowed Id have 5.I talk to my kitties all the time.But I dont smell like cat pee.Why would someone smell like cat pee?Unless you roll around in your cats litter box you shouldnt smell like pee?

Not all houses that have cats smell like cat pee...hello??? i have cats and my house is spotless and smells good too...its all in how you care for them...i get compliments all the time on the cleanliness and the good smell of my home...so there
