They're just jealous...some jerks are like that. If they call you tall, say thank you. Whatever you do, don't walk away all scrunched down and slouchy - walk away with your head up and your body as tall as possible. If it doesn't seem like it bothers you (even though it might) kids will stop teasing you because they aren't getting a reaction. And, you'll be a lot more comfortable with yourself once you accept your height. Plus, models are tall - tall is gorgeous! Stay confident & Good luck!

see, im 5'9 and in 8th grade, it's really hard to be that tall sometime, espeshally when almost all the guys are shorter than u... but ive lerned to deal with the fact that im really tall, and it doesnt even make a difference that ur taller than the guys... except when you kiss them, lolz
- but a bounus is that older guys think ur older so it's kinda cool, at least for me, hahahaha

Kids tease other kids for a variety of reasons. They want attention, and they think teasing is cool. They may feel insecure, so they make fun of others in an effort to make themselves feel better. Kids may also tease a child with a condition they don't understand, such as a learning disability. If someone in their circle of friends is engaging in hurtful teasing, kids may join in simply because they want to fit in with their peers.
If teasing turns into bullying, ask your teacher or the school's principal or social worker to intervene.
As kids we learned that "sticks and stones break bones but names can never hurt us." As true as we want that statement to be, it just isn't. Words can be very hurtful and some kids really take unkind words others say to heart.
Tools to fight off a child who teases them will help them learn self-confidence and ways to cope in difficult situations. The best way to silence a teaser is to ignore them. This however, is a hard lesson. .

be proud that you are tall! When your older it will be sometihng people will constantly compliment you on! trust me i would know since i was tall when i was younger too! you might want to think about modeling at your height! But this is what you say to the other kids, just mention how your height is something they should be jealous of since you have the ability to be a beautiful model! good luck!

Join the basketball team, then they'll want you be even taller. If your school doesn't have a girl's team, sue them under title 9. They'll know what that means.
It means if they don't come up with the money for a coach and equipment, they have to either let you join the boys team, or they have to disband the boys team.

Its good to be tall, believe me! im 5'7'' and would like to be a little taller.
Models are 6 foot and above. They are probalbly just jealous.
What ever you do DON'T crouch to make yourself the same hieght as others, as this will only leat to curvature of the spine.

girl, dont even worry about them fluant beingt tall dont be sad have you not seen tyra banks...beauty comes in all diffrent shapes colors and sizes..the kids are just making fun of u because they have insecurites of their and making you a target wont make people talk about them...ignore them and hold your head up high!! :)

just ignore them...you cant help being tall...your not gonna shrink to their size over night or anytime...? i get called short all the time im like 5'2 ppl are just mean sometimes?

lol!! my friends make fun of me because im tall too!! :D im 5 foot 7!! ya i no its pretty tall!! just ignore them!!! and they will get sick o f taunting u!!! i no i sound like those councelors but it really works!!! :)
