There is a guy that sits at a desk diagonally in back of me and to the right in History. My friend sits beside me or right in front of him and we will talk before class starts. But when he walks in, he'll jump into the conversation or he'll start his own with me and somewhat cut her off. Yes, I'll talk to him but I feel like just another person. It used to be that he'd smile and I'd start smiling but now I barely even grimace. Yet, I think about him all the time. The things that he does make me wonder. Like today, he told my friend and I not to wait for him so we walked towards the door and somehow...I don't remember exactly how but he got to the door before us and just stood there waiting I guess, for me. We were the only ones left in the classroom and he let us through, following behind. But I think about him all the time and can't get him outta my head. But whenever I talk with him or even make eye contact, it seems like somethings missing. I think hes interested but am i?

Hmm,
well I've had those feelings a lot,
and in my experience,
when you can't get them off your mind,
thats one step before liking them A LOT.

Answer my question please?

Trust your instincts that tell you something is missing. It doesn't sound like you are very interested in this guy. He is either shy and/or has poor socializing skills or could even become a stalker. I would just ask him point blank, 'why are you walking behind us?' when he seemed to be waiting for you. He sounds interested but unsocialized not to realize that its rude just to cut off your conversation with your friend. Something doesn't sound right by his behavior. It may be best to pull back from this guy and set your boundaries by your behavior. Ignore him. The more you engage him the more likely he is to become a stalker.

Ask him out and see. That way you can end his head games. A thing to think about: he's rude to your friend by cutting her out of conversations. Will he try to cut off all your friends?
