You are a great sister for being concerned and wanting to help him. It must be frustrating to not be able to attend the meeting. If you haven't already, be sure to share everything you know about the situation with your parents. Try to stick to the facts without getting too emotional. Then share your feelings about the situation with them along with any realistic solutions you may have.

Your parents should attend the meeting and this teacher should be removed. Luckily she only hit his leg, what if she further lost control & hit his face or head? Of course, no hitting is acceptable.
Another bad thing about this is that at 6, the main thing is for kids to like school. That way they have a shot at success in school. If he's turned off school now because they hit you, how can he happily participate and learn? I'd be scared & resentful. Poor little sweetheart, breaking down in tears. He probably thinks he did wrong. Probably scared to do anything at school. Teacher has to go.

go to his school after it is let out. bring a ruler with you and smack that teacher as hard as you can across the wrist. Then look into their eyes and say "hurts doesn't it." Stay calm the whole time cause that will intimidate them. tell the teacher you want a written apology to your brother and family and that you had better never hear of anything like that again.
If you're not into that go with the American way. Higher a lawyer and sue the teacher into bankruptcy. Nothing says don't ever do that again like draining someones savings.

First of all, why are you concerning yourself with this incident and not your parent anfd/or guardian? You say, we Americans,- what country are you from, and is physical reprimand accepted in your country?
If so, one would beg to ask the question as to what caused the teacher to physically punish your brother.
Why hasn't the teacher or headmaster contacted an adult instead of a 14 year old?
Something is not right here.

Your parents should go to the meeting and find out what really is going on. Sometimes kids can tend to exaggerate the truth. Both sides of the story need to be discussed.

Discuss with teacher about ur brother, may be ur brother is not behaving in class room or doing mischiefs in class or not paying attention to what is being taught in class. If this is right than teacher has all the rights to correct ur brother(this is what is being followed in Asia). Be very very polite to the teacher. she should not make out by ur gesture that u r annoyed with her.

I admire your care for your little brother, and I think you should voice your opinion by talking to your parents, the headteacher, whoever. Either way, the teacher should be fired.

It's not your business to handle this problem; that should be done by your parents. You are ONLY 14 years old and are not capable of handling this situation without getting yourself into a mess. Let your little brother tell them and they can take it from there.

That's horrible and probably against the law. If the principal doesn't take strict disciplinary action, or you don't feel satisfied, press charges if you want to make a point.
