I can relate. Try drinking slower and feeling the effects of a slightly lighter buzz and enjoying it. Also, let the buzz hit you before drinking more, rather than continuously drinking until you feel it, as you could be piling up a "debt" of alcohol in your system during this time. Good luck!

Congratulations on becoming a full blown alcoholic!! Quit drinking and the blackouts will stop! If you feel you can't stop on your own, get some help. Start out with out patient recovery. If you're still not strong enough to quit, get into in patient rehab. Go to AA meetings. If you want to stay dry - stay out of wet places. The fact that you blackout is a clear indication you have a drinking problem. Recovery is not easy, but with the proper tools, you can be successful.

Try drinking less. If you stop drinking, that too will help. Sorry, those are your only options. Unrealistically, you could get a blood transfusion to get the alcohol out of your system.

My sister used to black out when she drank white Russians. Now she just drinks beer and remembers everything.....kind of.
