One to another - just within the membership of a church, and preferably the christian people you are in relationship with. There are too many "wolves" in a general cross-section of people like this site has, to do confession, I think ! I'm hoping to do some the next time I see my parents. It clears misunderstanding and gets people forgiving one another, then our prayers are not impeded (reference in James 5 you know of, I think).

I frequently fantasize about shooting this guy I absolutely can't stand in the back of the head with a blow dart so he'll fall asleep and shut the hell up. I feel pretty bad about thinking that but it's still kinda funny.

Islam teaches us that if we confess our sins to others, we actually creat witnesses against us because they will tell God that yes this person told us that hshe committed this sin.

Muslims never tell their sins to others and quitely repent to God for forgiveness and try not to do the same wrong to themselves again.

What confessing does any good to the sinner. No man is authorized to forgive sins of any. Only God can forgive your sins. If you want forgiveness talk directly to God and plead to forgive you. No one needs any intercessor. God does listen to all. It is not true that we can not reach to God and only Priest can get us forgiven.

When priest themselves commit sins who confess to.

You like peeking at other peoples secrets obviously.
Does this make you feel superior or do you just get a kick out of it.
Maybe you would secretly like to be a priest in a confession booth.

Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10:4
Christ is not the mend of law: Luke 5:36,37
In Christ there is no law = no sin = no death sting
Confession is getting pretty OLD, FAULTY, AND
what's READY TO VANISH also SHALL VANISH.

Hmmm, isn't the Dead Sea rapidly vanishing now.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Oh jeez, not the same old boring array of sins. How about let's NOT confess our sins to one another. How about you leave that to your confessor, or your therapist or your stuffed animal and leave us all out of it? We acknowledge that you're a sinner, ok? If it makes you feel better to believe that everyone is, go for it. But PLEASE stop with this masturbatory confession stuff.

I don't have to confess, God knows what I have done, that is a Catholic thing, confession.
