Everyone says to just tell him how you feel, but thats really hard. I've said it too. But, you should flirt around with him, if you guys don't ouch each other much make your friendship a little touchier. Guys love to figure out puzzles. Make yourself his puzzle. Don't make it impossible though. Try and sit near him and stuff too. Not all the time but enough that he notices your acting differently around him, in a good way. Good luck.

It might sound juvenile, but I think I would suggest to simply flirt with him, and take the next step from there.
