Jesus had nothing to do with it, he had been dead for 1200 years when it happened. It was on June 26, 1284, that the Pied Piper led 130 children out of Hamelin (now Hameln); no one knows what became of them. The event is commemorated there to this day.

I've always wondered what the first name was of the Piper and where he came from.

The two questions are now resolved. The name is Spanish, so it much be Jesus Pied, the piper from Madrid. rotfl

It wasn't Jesus. The pipe was a flute. I can't remember the name of the guy who did this magical feat. I think he was simply called "the Pied Piper".
