I think that Tony has a outside change but do not count out Clint.

Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson are the obvious favorites. Clint Bowyer is in the mix as well, but I think the experience bug is going to bite him pretty quickly.

As far as Tony goes....it's no longer in his hands. It's going to take a run of bad luck by the top three drivers in order for him to have a chance.

I'm personally pulling for Gordon as I'm a fan, and also because I feel he deserves it the most this year. But with this new system, any of the top three are likely contenders.

I think that it is between the top 3. I think the Tony is too far back to win it. If I had to choose, it would be Jimmie Johnson. However, Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer are continuing to get stronger and stronger each week as the races pass by.

So who do I want to win: Jimmie Johnson
Who do I think will win: Clint Bowyer or Jeff Gordon

Tony is probably the farthest back that still has a slim chance and maybe Carl. However, they are done if the 24 doesn't have a problem or 2. Jeff has been good all year and will be hard to beat but Jimmie has done better in these last 5 races the last few chases. Clint needs both the 24 and 48 to slip up. I think Jimmie has almost as good a chance as Jeff because he's actually been in this same spot more times and doesn't have all the pressure on him anymore. Jeff is pretty much expected to win it so that favors his teammate, in my opinion.

No way you think that Tony will win. There is no way he can he is way to far behind, and Clint is reliable or else he wouldn't even be in the chase I mean he has proven he deserves to be in the Nextel cup series and that he deserves to be in the Chase.

As long as Jeff doesn;t have a major mess up, he is in good shape. But Johnson is super strong the last 3 races, more so than Jeff. Tony Stewart can never be left out until he is locked out points wise. Nothing against Bowyer, but I just don;t see it happening.

I would LOVE to see Clint take the championship, but I think Jeff is going to pull it off.

The great thing is you never know who will wreck, blow an engine, or (not so great) get fined by NASCAR.
