i started a new job and they are still yet to train me, they cant do it now because i am going on a vacay for 3 weeks so they will train me in dec. anyhow i have no problem getting to the job its just staying there the full 8 hours sucks. i constantly count the minutes going by and think of ways to get home early..Doesnt help that I am pregnant and feel like crap. Today there was just too much nausea so i left early and now that im home i feel bad for doing that, i also feel better and maybe if i had waited and stayed at work i would have been alright. What do I do? I need this job and it sucks that they are just throwing odd things at me and I am bored like crazy. Quitting it not an option. HELP

You might not have to quit - the way things are going, they'll very possibly fire you.

I know that sounds harsh. But it's reality. I also know that you can feel really crummy when you are pregnant - but that isn't your employer's problem to deal with.

It's really unusual that they'd have allowed you to take 3 weeks off soon after starting the job.

With a little luck, by the time you get back from vacation the morning (afternoon? evening?) sickness will have passed and you'll feel better.

You're luck you have a job while your pregnant. There are women right now looking for work and can't get any because their pregnant, count your blessing. As far as being bored why don't you make yourself useful and find something to do besides thinking of ways to escape. Grab a broom and pitch in, find something to dust off, look for some papers to be file, do something just don't stay thinking about the clock. Good luck.

how did you manage to get vacation for 3 weeks just after starting? If you are bored, bring a book or ask for things to do or both.
