I would tell the parents, and if they don't do anything, then don't do anything, only if they(the kids) are in your brother's house, but if they are in your house, you can totally do, something. don't spank, but a timeout will work and watch your kid very carefully and if the child does it again then tell the parents again, and again until they do something about it.

Yes u should....he's not ur child, but he/she is ur nephew/niece. U can say something. I don't really know what 2 say bcuz u said "act up" but with no "for instances", so its really hard 2 say. But try something like don't do that, that's not nice, or what's wrong why r u acting like that. Or hell tell him out right to STOP. If ur not comfortable around ur sis n law, talk 2 ur brother on the side. But don' let him mistreat ur child or destroy ur house or things bcuz u don't want 2 say anything. Good Luck.

in my house if any kid is acting up and the parent doesnt stop them right off the bat,then i will. this also applies for in public.im not having any kid around me act like a brat and make everyone stare at us. its unfair to others too.

yes let him know his kid is being out of control and to check their kid.
