K Bear is quite right, there are a LOT of opportunities for you to stay in Australia, but every person's situation is different, so you need to find what's best for you.
You would very likely be able to get an extension on your three month visa, one of my work colleagues did that. There was quite a lot of paperwork, but it did not take long and he was given an extra six months!
There are also people called Migration Agents who can assist you if you wish to stay permanently in Australia. They do charge a fee, but know all the rules and regulations. I have put a link below where you can get more information.
Please, for your own sake, do not stay in Australia beyond the time of your visa, unless you have official approval and an official document to prove it.
If you 'overstay', you may be banned form returning to Australia for three to seven years!
Do everything legally and properly and you will find a pleasant welcome :-)
Cheers :-)
