No light reflectors,if an aircraft is flying too low it could save them.

I thought they stopped power lines from hitting each other. Or so aircraft could see them.

We have some of those to alert a sea plane that they power lines are below, so they don't hit them.

They are there so airplanes and helicopters can see that there are power lines there. That is why they are orange so they are easy to see.

i think they are used to connect tow separated cables u know cables are not continuous
