Ok I don't really get this question but I'll try to answer it the best I can.

Um... you don't necesarily have to be a religion but you should at least have faith. If you believe he will answer your prayer then he most likely will. It's all in the faith.

You should believe to. I mean what's the good in praying for a God that you don't believe in I mean what's the good in that.

Prayer is in the belief, not in just the action of prayer.

Matthewe 21:21-22
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

Me, no, I would never tell you something like that. To me, you would really have to stretch the limits of your sanity in order for a god that you know doesn't exist to reveal itself to you in the form of anything other than words or drawings on paper or screen, or actors in movies and infomercials.

Any prayer without belief is empty. God does not need you to do anything for him to reveal himself to you.

If you truly do not believe in Jesus Christ then prayers are a waste of time. The only Prayer that is heard from a nonbeliever is the sinners prayer asking Jesus to come into your heart and save. You must be will to admit that you believe in Jesus and that he died for you on a cross. In the Bible it says in the book of Romans chapter 10:9,That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you are willing to admit this Jesus will come into your heart and save you. The Bible teaches that without salvation you are doomed to hell with the devil and his demons. That doesn't sound to promising. Being saved is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Just there being an Isreal and all the fuss about Jerusalem should be enough proof to you that there is a God. Why is it that the whole world stands still when one little country speaks. There is a God, and his name is Jesus Christ. Here is a sinners Prayer, please read over it and think about it. It you pray it believing, you will be born again, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Pray and study the bible which is His Word. The gospel of John is a great place to start. If you really want to seek Him, you will find Him.

God still hears our prayers even if we don't believe in Him (or so some would have us believe).

You must seek God. Praying without faith is not seeking.

Well, *yeah*. Isn't "fake it until you make it" an integral part of the Bible?

Actually, I don't see it, but I'm sure I'm reading it wrong.
