Is there better days or time periods to get the best rate on hotels? Also, is booking online through a third party site actually cheaper than calling the hotel directly and booking it through them? Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks

it is probably better to book on days that aren't "peak season", so that you could get the room cheaper. :D

also, online sites that are trusted and safe are usually okay, but i think there is an extra payment for using their services, not really sure though. just be extra careful for frauds. :D

I found calling the hotel directly is cheaper than the online sites. Some hotels have special packages with spas, etc., and I would book at least 2 weeks ahead. But don't quote me, I've booked as close to 4 days to our arrival. Good luck!
