I'm thinking about hiring some people to pound me to a cross and let me suffer and die for all sinners. That way, "Jesus' Return" will already have happened and then people would know that I have come and gone. Then what would happen? Really, would people think I was Jesus? Or would they think I was crazy? C'mon people think! Kind of mind blowing isn't it?

How do we know that Jesus didn't fake his death (excess blood) like Cris Angel, like an elaborate magic show to create his followers? I mean really, 2000 years ago, you'd have believed he died and came back to life. Now if someone died and came back to life you'd say "well he was never dead" it could've been magic though!

I'm not mocking other's religions, I'm just trying to prove a point.

One person's answer was "how do you plan to resurrect yourself?" Like Jesus never told anyone, neither would Cris Angel tell how he did a magic trick, I wouldn't tell how I resurrected myself. If I told than it wouldn't be Jesus-Like.

You haven't told us yet how you plan to resurrect yourself.

I bet that I'd to mention initially your poem is seasonal and also you attempt to establish with a thief in a guilt ridden manner in doing this you do what each guy has performed or must do, query their religion! The simplest manner you'll make that is facet 2 to be a today's day parable the execution of a shrewd devout guy dealt with and accomplished like a crook simply or unjust, that is the ethical obstacle that the responsible thief felt.

dude it's called FAITH you have to BELIEVE that Jesus (not meaning you) died to save our sins. The micracle of Jesus is that he rose from the dead.
if you hire some people to mound you to a cross and let you suffer and die as you say to die for our sins, you will not rise again. and that my friend is only something the son of God can do.
sure maybe you will have some followers if you were to sacrife yourself, but i know that my Lord Jesus Christ already did that for me.

good luck finding you faith!!

Hum....sounds like this adventure this may be very painful. Not very wise to mock Jesus Christ. Since I don't believe you can pull off a Resurrection, people would definitely think you are crazy

Jesus did what he did b/c he believed in sacrificing himself for the good of the people. You would only be doing it as a stunt. Doesn't work the same way lol

I am in no way a religious freak, i am just stating what i know. If it's wrong then, that's no surprise on my end lol

Only if you have never broken any of God's Commandments (all 613 of them), and then you rise from the grave the morning of the third day. Of course, all your blood must spill out while on the cross.

You go ahead and die and spill out all your blood in the process, and then come back and we'll talk.

Until then, as C.S. Lewis put it, "Jesus was either who he claimed to be, the very Son of God, or he was a lunatic on the same order as someone who thinks he's a poached egg."

So far, you come across as someone who is as lunatic as someone who thinks he's a poached egg!

(Do I hear the men in white coming to take you away?)

No not really, it would be a waste of time and you would die for nothing. Plus people are going to think you are crazy for even saying this.

Its more to it than dying on the cross.

God bless

There was more to him than being nailed to a cross.

You'd just be a bit dead.

And you'd have a lot of explaining to do when you met the real Jesus.

I guess we know about Jesus and his resurrection due to our FAITH. He will not come again to be crucified again so I don't think people would think you were Jesus. If they did, that would be your miracle. Not mind blowing at all to me. Just plain silly.

Jesus was perfect when he was here on earth. That is why he was able to die for our sins here on earth on the stake. Nobody can pronounce themselves Jesus and expect that "to do" because they are not perfect. Jesus RIGHT now is ruling in heaven.

Are you going to resurrect yourself too?

Get a life. If mocking other people's religious beliefs is your only hobby, you have a sad existence indeed.
