I know Jesus wants people to reject sin and accept his sacrfise for them and gain eternal salvation. I simply refuse to believe that my own Lord and Savior would want to steal my hard-earned tax dollars to support people too lazy to take care of themselves in the greatest country in the history of the God.

Uh...what?

Tell me, who was it that:

Lied to the world about WMDs as a justification for war.

Advocates the use of torture, by not calling it "torture", against so-called enemies.

Veto'd a bill designed to help poor, sick children.

Veto'd a resolution denouncing genocide perpetrated by an "important" trade partner.

Tell me, which of those actions are part of "Christ's message" again?

As a liberal, I hate to point this out, but they did a study last year and found that conservatives gave more money and time to charities.

Those darn liberals always trying to help the poor.

It won't be long and we won't even be allowed to torture people for eternity anymore.

Christ was the ultimate political activist!
If more people jumped on the bandwagon ... well, that'll never happen, so why even go there?
