I am trying to apply for a loan in the amouint of $8000- for a doublewide. I am married, but i have poor credit, and my husband has none. My grandmother, as a doublewide, financed with National City, and she has a PERFECT credit score! NO DINGS, OR ANYTHING. She said she will be a co-signer. Can i still get declined, even with her as a cosigner?

You could still get turned down if she doesn't have enough income to cover both loans.
She is risking her credit rating and $8,000 because if you miss a payment she will get a ding on her credit and then they will start trying to get her to pay too but it will be too late to save her credit rating.
What my mom does when a grand child needs a loan is buy the object for them then collect from them. One grand daughter got a car made a couple of payments and stopped. A grand son got a condo and missed an entire year before starting to pay again. This way she doesn't have any credit problems and so far is only out one used car.

your husband should be the one applying if you have bad credit, you should stay out of the picture and keep grandma out too, unless sheis the primary and he the cosigner then yea but i wouldnt put grandma into this your husabdn should be able to do the whole thing himself with no credit! do you have a bank or checking account? go to them and ask for money, good luck!

Yes, it depends on whether Grandma is still working, and what the source of her income is.
