and this brings me to another question. wouldnt an all perfect god create an all perfect world? if no, then why not?

i hope you dont bother me asking but i was just a little curious about your logic on this. thanks in advance.

i have no problem with it and think it sould be legalized.... its crazy to me that ppl can go out and get crazy drunk, adn beligerent, but getting a lil high off of an all natural substance is illegal?? alcohol is literally a poison! look at the effects it has on your body afterward... i personally dont smoke, but i think it has a bad rap because of the government.. it has very many positive effects, such as with pain and stuff... and if it were legalized, we woudl prolly have less of a problem with ppl getting addicted to pain killers and stuff, because a dr. could say, "try some marijuana, it may help ease the pain." and the best part of it is, its not addictive like alcohol or pain meds.

editing..

Making marijuana illegal was an economic action for civil order. Jaywalking is against the law too but neither roads nor walking are not necessarily flawed. Sticking a knife in your chest is lethal and illegal but it doesn't mean either you or the knife were flawed. You see, the question constricts the answers to produce something you can then use to justify your already-narrowed viewpoint.

The second question suffers the same problem because it accepts the colloquial use of "perfect" to mean the absence of pain or flaws. It may very well be that the human-created definition of perfection has nothing whatever to do with what actual perfection would be. Flaws and pain might be perfect. The rational thought process we use to say they're not is merely an evolutional tool like the opposable thumb or prehensile tail, there's just no reason to think it has the capacity to define perfection and the render a judgment about the things it cannot sense or comprehend. Christians suffer from this delusion as well, we think that humans are the reason for and the center of the entire universe based on rational thought and we try and construct factual arguments to defend our faith. The truth is that we are likely living in God's world and not God living in ours and faith is a far more comprehensive experience than rational tought allows.

Hope that is interesting enough to read. (Also, I favor legalization& regulation, for what it's worth.)

I don't agree with making Marijuana legal. Many use the logic that if it is there, then God meant for us to use it. However, there is some serious flaws in this thinking. God gave us minds to us. He gave us enough sense to know what is harmful to us. Regardless of what someone may believe -- Marijuana is harmful to the body. There is actually a higher chance of lung cancer when using it than there is with smoking tobacco. Just because a plant is growing in the ground, does that suddenly mean that we need to pluck it and smoke the thing? God created poison ivy as well. I don't really see you making a bed out of it to sleep in at night. Why not use that for sheets rather than cotton? Come on. Think about it.

God couldn't make a perfect world and create us with any bit of free will. He has a "perfect world" with the angels. He wanted people that would choose on their own will whether or not to follow him. That is why we are not living in a perfect world.

And, no, you didn't bother me by asking.

No, God is perfect. God creates everything perfect and beautiful. Mankind can taken anything God gave us and corrupted it into something evil. Children are a beautiful gift of God; then look at pedophiles (as an extreme example, not a comparison to marijuana!) But no bother; feel free to ask anything. That's why were here.

God made a perfect world. Everything God makes for good, Satan attempts to twist for evil. Marijuana is a fine plant and it looks nice. I don't think it was originally intended to be smoked.

The tree of "knowledge of good and evil" was a fine tree. I bet it would have made fine skateboards, but Adam and Eve ate the fruit which should not have been eaten. Now a once perfect earth is now cursed.

No because when used the way it was intended it has many values,(hemp rope, pain killer and indigestion) just like the leaves for cocaine when chewed its a natural form of caffeine and not harmful. but when processed these drugs become harmful.

It was a perfect world before we (humans) ate of the tree of knowledge and became aware of what was truly around us.
and hand knowledge of good and evil. You try to make really valid points but they fall short, We as humans had it all but we gave it away with a "bite" .

I'm a little curious about the real meaning behind these questions how about you tell us about your beliefs, and thank you in advance also.

Marijuana has medical use, but people abuse it. Also, god did create an all perfect world, and he gave us free will to either serve him or not, the choice is up to us. Would it be just for him to control us and force us to serve him? No, god wants whole-souled devotion to him. Our heart should motivate us to serve him

God made tobacco for cigarettes so I smoke. It is Gods fault I smoke.
God made marijuana for smoking . It is God's fault I am a doper.
God made the material used for guns. It is God's fault I shot my neighbor.
Your argument makes no sense.
God does have a perfect world. Study the Bible.

First off I am a Christian. Second, please don't confuse the government and God as the same. They are not. Third, I cannot help it if people want to make their brains mush and eat their spines so they cannot walk, it is just sad that is all. Happy smoking and enjoy till you start hallucinating and your life is spent. Turn around and there you will find someone that truly loves you and that is Jesus. He is the best high in the world.
