More than likely the pain you are feeling, and its location, might suggest you have an ovarian cyst. Usually vomiting and excruciating pain comes with appendicitis. The stomach is located directly below the sternum, and your pain isn't there. Your pain is located in your lower right quadrum, suggesting to me a cyst. Your appendix is located directly below your last rib, which is also not where your pain is. The cyst will either rupture on its own and you'll feel better, or it will continue to grow causing problems that may require surgery. Go to an ob / gyn and get examined. By feeling around inside, the doctor can tell you exactly what it is. Good luck to you.

I assume you mean "abdominal area," "belly," or "tummy," not stomach. The appendix is not located on the left, as some people believe, but in the right (there are some individuals who have their appendix on the left, but that is rather unusual.) Most people with appendicitis feel the pain around in the center of their belly. The pain is normally quite difficult to pin-point and seems to migrate. Normally, patients have a temperture. Another common sign is a loss of appetite. If you experience these, then you might want to see a doctor.

there is a long list of RLQ (right lower quadrant pain). Appendicitis is in that list. If you are nauseated, vomiting, can't think of eating, and running a fever, go to the nearest E.R. Don't ignore the pain. Better to be safe, than sorry.

Not necessarily. I think I.B.S. is on the right. That means Irritable Bowel Syndrome. You can have tablets for the pain and it does not turn cancerous. One of the symptoms is that one day you are constipated then you get diarrhoea. Should go to the doctor anyway if it keeps on. I think sometimes the middle of you tummy hurts when it is appendix. And you can be sick (vomit)

Your appendix is on the left side of your stomach. It could be gallstones, that's what mine turned out to be. I was having the same type of pain, and for a few years no one knew what it was. They never even assumed gallstones because I was so young at the time (19), but I lucked into getting a smart doctor one day who did an ultra sound, and gall stones were there, bright as day.

yes could be, could also be ovulation issues or bowel issues. A test you can do is jump up and down, does it hurt? if you push on the spot and let go quickly what happens? if both of these things are more painful than you really need to go see a dr get a wbc done and possibly an ultrasound or a ct scan.

Could be, might be gas, is that area hot to the touch? You should consult a doctor if you start running a temperature. Or go to an accute care center and get checked out.

It means you should get off the computer and go straight to the doctors office and get it looked at before it is to late.

Possibly if the pain grows stronger or worst. Do you think it might just be gas?
