It just depends on what you had in your chili, was it homemade with lean ground beef, and kidney beans? Or was it store bought and really processed? Chili made at home isn't too bad for you since it is just spices, beans, and meat, store bought chili contains much more fat. I would lay off of the sour cream though.

Sour cream is very unhealthy and not neccessary, I've never heard of putting noodles in chili, but chili is actually very healthy! Here is my recipe:

OK...get ground turkey.about 1.5-2 lbs., one onion, one green pepper, a can of black beans, a head of garlic, some chili poweder, a jalapeno, cumin, salt, pepper, a big can of stewed tomatoes, a small box of frozen corn.

Brown the meat in a pan. Cut up the vegetables (use all the onion and pepper, about 2 clovesof garlic,1/4 jalapeno ) Throw the meat, veggies, tomatoes, corn, beans and spices in a crock pot, cook on slow for about 8 hours. This is delicious, helathy and feeds my fiance and I for about 4 days!

Plus you can alter this...take out the jalapeno/or not too much chili powder to not make it as spicy. And you can add fat free shredded cheese on top when you are serving it.

The worst part of it is the sour cream. Chili is tomato, beef, and beans. Usually with onion and other spices. I have had it with pasta in it, that just gives a more complete balance to it. I wouldn't eat it like that every day, but once in awhile, you just need to eat. It's not that bad for you. (Enjoy the treat of sour cream as well! Once in a while won't crack up your diet.)

Chili itself is not bad for you, if it's homemade, since you can put what you want in it. Just use lean ground beef or ground turkey. Use beans and lots of spices. But be careful with the sour cream.

You really shouldn't put sour cream on it, and I have never heard of noodles in it. It is supposed to be really healthy, in fact at Wendy's, you're supposed to get chili instead of their fries because you will save a lot of fat & calories.

it depends on the ingredients. Sour cream is pretty bad for you. My chili is very healthy, only beans and lean, ground turkey and super spicy! and i scoop it up with whole grain tortilla chips. mmmmm

Not at all. It fits into the category of pizza: so good it MUST be bad, but it isn't. I don't know about the sour cream, but add crackers and it's a complete meal.

I don't think so. I put lots of beans in mine and top it with cheese so it is packed with protein and calcium. I have never put noodles in chili.

it's good for you, as long as you do not make it with too many peppers.

although why would you eat something that tells you it's sour right in the name?
